The file contains:;a) an autograph letter of four pages written on 31 December 1813 to Thomas Allen in Edinburgh concerning chemical analysis. The letter has a small red seal.;b) an autograph letter of three pages (without place and date) to Thomas Brande asking to give a guided tour in their laboratories for Hunt and Scanlan. The letter has remains of a small black seal.;c) an autograph letter of two pages written on 14 October 1814 to "Dear Sir" describing an experiment.
