Description
The file contains:;a) a handwritten letter (possibly a copy) written in Heidelberg on 23 April 1868 to the minister [for education?] in Baden concerning attempts to offer to Kolbe a professorship in Berlin, in which he was not interested. Kolbe added a sheet containing three handwritten copies of letters between August Wilhelm Hofmann (two letters) and him (one letter), written in Berlin and Heidelberg on 13 February, 16 February, and 29 February 1868 concerning the possibility of a professorship for Kopp at the University of Berlin.;b) a handwritten letter (possibly a copy) written in Heidelberg on 31 July 1869 to the minister [for education?] in Baden concerning the minister's resignation from the position of a representative of the university.;c) an autograph letter of four pages written in Heidelberg on 13 October 1877 to "Hochverehrter Herr College" concerning the recent treatments he have had.;d) an autograph letter of two pages written in Heidelberg on 19 September 1881 concerning Robert Wilhelm Bunsen's aversion to sit for a sculptor in preparation of his bust.
