Letter, in french, from Adjudant-Commandant [Pierre] Decouz, Alexandrie, 14 Fructidor an 9 [1.9.1801], informing General of Division Destaing, that Lt. General Friant, back from illness, has resumed his post of commandant of the troops;;In another hand, on the same page notes for an answer [Destaing?] 'the state of my wound compels me to leave mine for a rest'.
