Sucy, Le Roy" [membres de la Commission chargée de l'armement des côtes de la Méditerranée]; sans adresse spéciale, Toulon le 10 Floréal, sixième année, [29.4.1798], la Commission arrête que le Vice Amiral Brueys et l'Ordonnateur de la marine [Najac] sont tous deux chargés "pour des motifs d'urgence.. que le vaisseau l'Orient sera disposé convenablement pour y recevoir un Général en chef [Bonaparte] et son état major général".
