Scope and content אלבום בגודל 28X36 ס"מ, כרוך בכריכת קלף מהודרת שהוטבעו בה עיטורים בצבע זהב. באלבום נכרכו ארבעים דפי קרטון קשיחים. משני צדיהם של 34 הדפים הראשונים הודבקו, בסך-הכל, 67 הדפסי חלבון מקוריים מתצלומי נופים ויצירות אמנות, בעיקר בעיר ונציה (Venezia) ובעיר פדובה (Padova), איטליה. כל התצלומים באלבום צולמו והופקו על ידי הצלם האיטלקי קרלו נאיה (Carlo Naya), כנראה בסוף שנות השבעים של המאה התשע עשרה. תחת חלק מן התצלומים נכתב תיאורם בכתב יד, באנגלית. ככל הנראה, התצלומים נמכרו בנפרד מן האלבום, שהורכב בידי תיירים אנגלים שביקרו באיטליה ברבע האחרון של המאה התשע עשרה או אף קודם לכן.
