The letters deal with Rolland's work "Jean Christophe", Zweig's play "Jeremias", with a meeting of both in Switzerland, with the end of World War I, and with Paul Seippel, Emile Verhaeren, Friderike von Winternitz, Annette Kolb, and Alfred Hermann Fried.
