Description
The file contains 15 handwritten letters and three telegrams. Most of the letters in French and English have been translated by Gorky's secretary, but were signed by him, only two letters are in original Russian. One letter was written and signed by Gorky's partner, Moura Budberg. Included is also one draft of a letter from Zweig (without date). The letters refer to Romain Rolland, to Stendhal, and to articles by Zweig for Gorky's journal "Besseda".
