Biographical summary Salomon Ludwig Steinheim (Altona or Bruchhausen 6.8.1789-Zurich 19.5.1866) German physician, poet, philosopher. MD Kiel, retired 1845, settled in Rome. Wrote on medicine and natural sciences, mainly on philosophy and religion. Follower of Kant and proponent of Jewish emancipation.
