Biographical summary Julius Preuss (Born: 5 September 1861, Groß Schönebeck, Uckermark, Died: 23 September 1913, Berlin), MD & scholar of rabbinic literature. Dr. Preuss Absorbed his Jewish education from Rabbi Dr. Dov Ritter. His major work is Biblisch-Talmudische Medizin (1911), still considered the standard on the subject.
